To provide Scriptures in small language groups in Kenya and in the East Africa Region. BTL is currently involved in over 25 languages in Kenya and recently in the East Africa Region.
To enhance social and economic development through provision of literacy skills to the small language groups; adequate literacy skills are critical to make concrete decisions, alleviate poverty and social exclusion.
To see the languages first developed into writing systems. This enables the community to develop literature in and for their language. Besides, it is a key element of Bible Translation

BTL-CICC is a distraction free Christian environment for corporate meetings, retreats and total relaxation for families and individuals. BTL-CICC offers: Conferencing Facilities, Accommodation, Wedding packages, Wedding Gardens, Recreational Facilities, Salon, Barber shop, Car wash, video shoot and photo shoot venues.
Tafsiri Business Ventures
Tafsiri business ventures are income-generating ventures for BTL. They include the Tafsiri Printing Press, Tafsiri Springs and Tafsiri Bookshop. Their proceeds support Bible Translation and Literacy in the Country and Beyond
Run for the Bibleless
Run for the Bibleless is an annual event that Bible Translation & Literacy organizes to cast vision to the Church and its Stakeholders of what it does among 25 small langugae groups in Kenya and to raise funds to support these projects.
When Mong’are completed his secondary education, he left his village to Nairobi to secure a job. It was during this time of trusting God for an open door of employment that his neighbor who was a grounds man at BTL informed him of an opportunity
