Samuel joined BTL in 2007 and has since served in various strategic roles in finance, partnerships, administration and  as BTL’s Finance and Administration Director until his appointment as the Executive Director on 1st January 2026.

Samuel brings a proven track record of integrity, strategic execution and dedication. For the eighteen years he has served with BTL, he has worked closely with BTL’s leadership and staff, building strong relationships with partners and with the communities that we serve. His vast understanding of the Bible translation movement and its future needs positions him well to lead BTL into the years ahead.

He holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Nairobi and a Master of Tax and Customs Administration from Moi University. Besides, he holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Management option) from the University of Nairobi. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of ICPAK as well as a Certified Public Secretary registered with ICPSK.
