Leadership transition: BTL Executive Director Designate

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Samuel Muia Kakui as the next Executive Director of Bible Translation and Literacy East Africa (BTL). His tenure will officially begin on 1st January 2026. Samuel will succeed Rev. Peter Munguti, who has faithfully served BTL in various capacities since 1997 and as Executive Director since 2010.
Samuel joined BTL in 2007 and has since served in various strategic roles in finance, partnerships, and administration and lately as BTL’s Finance and Administration Director.
We invite all partners and friends of BTL to uphold this transition in prayer, trusting God to establish the work of our hands in this new season.
